Catfishing, stolen photographs, and people who are not who they say they are. It wastes time and creates risk. Ishq verifies people before their profile goes live, ending the guesswork.
An app that continuously reports your real physical position lets somebody move around, watch the distance change, and triangulate exactly where you live. Ishq never does this.
Ishq does not read your phone's GPS to show you people. It does not even ask for location permission on the main screen.
Instead, you select your city. We measure from the city centre, not your bedroom window. We cannot track your movements, which means nobody else can work out your daily routines either.
We check a person and an identity document before a profile goes live. This confirms a person matches their photographs and document. The review is handled privately and the document is never shown on the profile.
Ishq does not show anyone when you were last online. You do not owe anyone a timeline of your availability. That is a deliberate architectural decision, not a settings toggle.
No reason needed. Blocking deletes the conversation permanently and stops all contact immediately. All reported content is inspected directly so we can screen for illegal images.
You are not findable by username unless you explicitly switch it on. If someone searches for you, they will find nothing.
